Our Story
Living Roots started because we're the kind of people who read tea forums at 2 a.m. and then actually message the farmers.
The turning point was meeting Marbah, a third-generation grower in the Eastern Himalayas.
That became our only rule: every tea we sell must come from one small farm run by people we know personally.
The terminal store, the unix terminal jokes — that's just the wrapper.
The tea itself is the part we lose sleep over.
Why We Built a Terminal Store
We spend half our lives in iTerm. Opening a browser felt wrong.
So we built the store we actually wanted: ssh tea@livingroots.shop.
Yes, it's ridiculous. Yes, 99.9% won't use it. That remaining 0.1% are exactly who it's for.
Can't SSH? We also built a browser terminal — same vibe, no command line required.
